Algodon Wines is the featured wine for this year’s Colectivo Felix’s U.S. Wine & Gastronomy Tour

In association with noted Argentine puertas cerrada chef, Diego Felix, Algodon Wines will be the featured wine on Colectivo Felix's fourth annual U.S. cooking tour visiting the cities of San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York.  Colectivo Felix's multi course tasting menu will be paired with Algodon Wine Estates' 2006 Bonarda, 2008 Malbec and 2009 Chardonnay.

Based in Buenos Aires, Diego Felix and his wife Sanra Rittin established Colectivo Felix, a Latin American "caravan of culinary entertainers", in 2008 with the intention of creating spontaneous, unrepeatable dining experiences in private homes, bars, wineries and restaurants. A few months out of each year, the group travels to the U.S. with the goal of merging local products into Argentine inspired dishes and promoting the culture and flavors of South America.

Deigo Felix is perhaps best known for his puertas cerrada (literally "closed door" or private restaurant), Casa Felix located in Buenos Aires, which has received numerous write-ups in major travel media including the New York Times, the Washington Post, W Magazine, The London Times, Condé Nast Traveler, The Guardian U.K., International Living, and many others.
