Argentina's National Institute for the Promotion of Tourism (INPROTUR) in conjunction with the Argentine Tourism Chamber recently conducted a promotional tour through Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Algodon Mansion's General Manager, Pablo Veloso, attended the event.
This was Argentine tourism's first organized visit to Vancouver, and approximately 80 travel industry professionals attended. Los Angeles also had a healthy turnout of about 70 people, including a local representative from the Argentine Consulate, and the event was wrapped-up with a tango show, live band, and cocktail party. Mexico City's event was also extremely successful, with over 90 travel agents, 25 local tourism and industry professionals, and 8 persons of the media. Mexico City also ended the evening with an Argentine bang, once again with a live tango show, band, and cocktail party.
