Champions Club Grass Courts Growing Greener
Algodon Wine Estates & Champions Club new grass courts are growing in very nicely, and we anticipate that they will be playable in time for the Argentine summer high-season. Our groundskeepers have expressed great satisifation with the progress of the grass growth thus far, and they are currently planning and implementing landscaping for the tennis center's surrounding terrain.
The tennis center's new clay courts have been available for play for a number of months now, and once the summer season begins and all of our new courts are completed, Algodon Wine Estates & Champions Club looks forward to hosting an inaugural tournament featuring Argentine tennis legend and Algodon Ambassador, José Luis Clerc.
Despite only being playable for the summer months, grass courts are often considered to be the "crown jewel" by tennis lovers, and they are very often more popular than the other surface types. In addition to appealing to Algodon Wine Estates tennis loving guests and future residents, we believe our grass courts will also provide the ideal setting for future tournaments hosted at our Champions Club.
