Algodon Olive Oil is Now Available, and with a New Look!

Our award-winning olive oil has a new look, and is now officially on sale at our estate!

Algodon Extra Virgin Olive Oil is served and sold exclusively at Algodon Wine Estates' award-winning restaurant, and is now also served at Algodon Mansion's Chez Nous restaurant.  Our top quality olive oil is derived from handpicked, estate-grown olives, and is freshly bottled after its first cold pressing. Algodon Extra Virgin Olive Oil is perfectly blended to compliment our wines, rounding out an exceptional Argentine culinary experience.  

Gastón Langlois, Executive Chef at Algodon Wine Estates award-winning restaurant "Chez Gaston", has agreed to share one of his recipes for authentic Argentine chimichurri made from Algodon Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  "This is one of my favorite recipes for the chimichurri sauce" Gaston says, "though there are many ways to make it.  I like this one, particularly because it's so simple, and yet it bursts with a traditional blend of flavors."

Gastón's Chimichurri

1 Tbs. fresh parsley
1 Tbs. fresh oregano
1 large garlic clove, minced or chopped
1 cup white vinegar
1 cup Algodon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Juice from 1 whole lemon
Salt to taste
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbs. sweet dry bell pepper powder

Combine all of the ingredients. Let the mixture rest for one day, then serve. This can be used as a marinade or a condiment for your favorite grilled meat.
