Algodon Wine Estates is pleased to announce that we have just had our first cold-pressing from our 2009 olive harvest. Although vineyards and olive orchards seem to go hand-in-hand, it is only in recent years that wineries have begun to redefine the traditional role of the wine estate by labeling estate-grown olive varietals and blends to compliment their wines. Algodon Wine Estates half-century old olive orchard's primary varietals are the Empeltre and the Pendolino olives. Our top quality, extra virgin olive oil is an essential addition to every meal at our award-winning restaurant, and will soon be available to you.
