Great News! Algodon Cabernet scores high according to Master Sommeliers!
Our Cabernet Sauvignon has scored an outstanding rating of 8 points on a scale of 1 to 10 at a recent wine tasting conducted by Wines of Argentina. The event’s judges were featured Master Sommeliers visiting Argentina from the United States. Our wine was also awarded the “Best Buy” distinction of all the wines participating in the event.
"This is a remarkable honor," said Algodon winemaker Mauro Nosenzo, "as we were competing against some of the best wineries in Argentina. The award is testament to the success of our commitment to quality and innovative new technology in winemaking." Ratings were designated based on the relation of quality to retail price.
The Master Sommeliers said that they believe Algodon Wine Estates will continue to receive positive critical reviews, because the quality of our wine for the price is simply fantastic. Argentine wines of similar quality retail at a much higher price than ours.
Other wineries that participated in the event include Vistalba, Trapiche Argentina, O.Furnier, Lagarde, Achaval Ferrer, Terrazas de los Andes (Grupo Chandon), Viña Cobos, Tamari, CarinaE, Luigi Bosca, Don Cristóbal.
