Algodon Wines Featured at Cuisine & Vins Wine Expo 2010

From June 9-11, 2010 Algodon Wine Estates presented our newest wines at the Cuisine & Vins 2010 Wine Expo, which was held at Buenos Aires' stately Palacio Paz.  Participants in this year's event include 30 of the country's most distinguished wineries.  Algodon Wines premiering at the event included our 2008 Pinot Noir, Sémillon, Chardonnay, 2009 Rosé and 2004 Malbec (limited vintage), which will also be launching in the coming months on the local Argentine market.

Representatives from Algodon Wine Estates attending the event included Winemaker, Mauro Nosenzo; oenologist and Senior Wine Advisor, Marcelo Pelleriti; Sales & Marketing Coordinator, Fernando Coelho; Director of Project Development, Tourism & Hospitality Diego Coll Benegas; and Algodon's Ambassador & Director of the Clerc Tennis Academy, José Luis Clerc.  To see an interview with Mr. Clerc at the expo, which aired on the Argentine news station C5N please click here for the Spanish language YouTube link.

Special guests and friends of Algodon also in attendance included renowned food & wine critic and enology journalist, Fernando Vidal Buzzi; La Nacion newspaper journalist, Mrs. Alicia Delgado; and celebrity Argentine chef, Narda Lepes.

Buenos Aires' mayor, Mauricio Macri, headed a ribbon cutting ceremony that launched the event, which was filled with delicacies from the most outstanding boutiques and wineries from Argentina.  The expo also featured tastings, food and wine seminars, as well as gourmand products such as olive oils, coffees, pastas, soups, cheeses, cold cuts, pickles, and preserves.
