Vinos y Bodegas / 2009 Wine Fair at La Rural
Algodon Wine Estates stood out once again at this year's 9th annual Vinos y Bodegas wine fair in Buenos Aires. Located at the historic La Rural in the neighborhood of Palermo, this three day event is the largest wine fair in Latin America. Vinos y Bodegas brings together a variety of renowned and boutique wineries from all over Argentina, presenting wines intended for both domestic and international markets.
Mauro Nosenzo, Algodon Wine Estates' Winemaker, attended the event's opening celebrations in order to personally introduce our winery to this year's attendees, which included top retailers as well as the general public. Over 40,000 wine lovers and connoisseurs attended this year's gathering, where we featured our 2006 Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Syrah, as well as our 2008 Chardonnay Reserva and Malbec Rosé. For some of our special private buyers that attended the event, we also offered an exclusive preview of our 2008 Malbec and Bonarda, both of which will not be available for sale until April, 2010.
