Algodon Wine Estates incorporates the innovative concept of a vineyard and golf estate living community by offering 300 homesites, ranging from 1-15 acres (0.4-6 hectares) each for private sale and development, as well as 50 casita townhomes and 12 tennis villas. Algodon Wine Estates is situated in the hills of the Sierra Pintada Mountains at the base of the Andes, in San Rafael, Mendoza. Our stunning Argentine vineyard and golf estate encompasses over 2,050 acres (830 hectares) of picturesque terrain that harmoniously intermingles with a championship golf course, lush vineyards, fruit and olive orchards, water reserves and channels, and spectacular tree-lined roads.
We are currently selling the first 30 lots at a 30% reduced rate. Click here to learn more!

Enjoy the most satisfying wines you could ever hope to imagine…those produced from your very own vineyard estate in the heart Argentina’s wine country. Algodon Wine Estates is now offering 300 estate homesites planted with vineyards and orchards, for private sale and development, and the first 30 homesite buyers with have the preliminary advantage of reserving the best locations while also receiving a 30% presale reduced rate. A private wine cellar within the estate has been reserved for the exclusive use of all vineyard estate owners who wish to bottle and label their own wines. Here, vineyard owners may store their bottles and barrels, sample their wines with friends and neighbors, and enjoy all the privileges of a privately owned label.
Viñas del Golf Resort (located within Algodon Wine Estates) is family friendly and will undoubtedly appeal to wine and sport lovers alike. Guests of the estate will enjoy guided wine tours and tastings, the finest traditional Argentine cuisine, luxury accommodations fashioned in rustically chic style, and some of the best golfing in Mendoza. Viñas del Golf is a member of Argentina Wine Hotels and is situated on Mendoza's Ruta del Vino (Wine Trail). Rounding out this one-of-a-kind Argentine experience is the beautiful backdrop of San Rafael and all of the exciting activities it has to share; including white water rafting, skiing, camping, horseback riding, hiking, rock climbing, recreational fishing and much more. Just a ten minute drive from a major airport, Viñas del Golf has found the perfect home in the unspoiled beauty of San Rafael's charmingly rustic surroundings.
Viñas del Golf has made room for more: Viñas del Golf has recently completed the construction of a new lodge that lies adjacent to our original John K. Norton designed lodge, which was built in 1921. The new lodge features 6 additional spacious suites and a cozy gallery with two fireplaces and a bar. The lodge has been delightfully designed to complement the architectural style of the original structure's golden-age aesthetic and rustic grand style. Modern amenities and authentic old-world charm combine to create the perfect getaway for guests of Viñas del Golf. Progress on the next nine holes: Our recent upgrade to the existing golf course has now been completely excavated and shaped, and the fairways, greens, and tees are all complete. The complete 18-hole championship course is scheduled to be open for play by April/May, 2009, and will beautifully compliment the estate's vineyards, water reserves and brooks, fruit and olive trees, and our world-class boutique winery.
Algodon Wine Estates Private Barrel Program - as described by Thrillist: When venturing abroad, the thrill of discovery can only be matched by offsetting airfare with a $6 savings on a bottle of duty-free wine. Increase that elation 300-fold, with the Algodon Wine Estates Barrel Ownership Program.
Available for the first time in the U.S., our 2008 wine list includes Malbec, Malbec Rose, Malbec/Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet/Syrah, Cabernet/Merlot, Merlot, Bonarda, Blend Rose, Chardonnay and our very special Grand Blend. Craftsmanship and tradition, combined with state-of-the-art technology, allow us to obtain only the highest quality of wines.
Algodon Mansion -- Buenos Aires, Argentina. Wow Factor: First luxury boutique hotel to open in Recoleta. Opening: December 2008. Boutique hotels open almost every month in nearby Palermo and San Telmo, but an opening in the ever-posh Recoleta is truly a news event. An area more familiar with Four Seasons and Park Hyatt gets a substantive addition with this six-story remodeled 1912 belle époque mansion located in the heart of Buenos Aires' best neighborhood. The hotel is a mini-compound of 10 suites ranging from 1,200 square feet featuring a mix of antiques and cutting-edge designs by B&B Italia and Cappellini.
InvestProperty Group, LLC has recently selected Pablo Veloso to serve as General Manager for Algodon Mansion. Mr. Veloso is the former General Manager of Punta del Este’s renowned Mantra resort, and has extensive experience in the luxury hotel industry, including the launching and management of Mantra resort as well as its predecessor the Cipriani Resort. Mr. Veloso was also instrumental in launching the Isla Victoria, a 20-suite luxury lodge in Bariloche owned by the Familia Iacheti (owners of the five-star Mares Sur Hoteles).
From the old neighborhoods of Recoleta and San Telmo with their 19th-century mansions to the ultra-modern towers of Puerto Madero, the city is experiencing a boom in renovation and construction. Argentina's 2002 currency crash, in which its dollar-pegged peso was devalued to around 35 cents, suddenly made building much cheaper. Pair this with a tourism boom-half a million tourists visited Buenos Aires in the first three months of 2008, up 16.3 percent from last year-and the city has seen a number of ambitious projects reach fruition.
From Germany to Australia and Brazil to Canada, the once-mighty $US greenback has been in a downward spiral for years. Fortunately, there are still safe havens out there - countries where our currency and the host country's currency move in lockstep. In two cases, our dollars are the actual currency, so you don't even have to visit an exchange booth. Here are five destinations where your costs should be stable no matter when you arrive. Argentina: This is an example that may not stand the test of time, but since 2003 the Argentine currency has moved in a narrow range of around 3 pesos to 1 U.S. dollar. Before the massive economic crisis that hit the country at the beginning of the decade, it was 1 to 1 and it's certainly possible things will change again in the future. For now though, even though inflation is high and prices aren't as low as they were a few years ago, Argentina is a relative bargain and Buenos Aires is the best substitute for a visit to a European city.

InvestProperty Group recently launched three new consumer oriented websites for Algodon Wine Estates, Viñas del Golf , and Algodon Wine. While navigating through these new websites you’ll notice a shared design template and interlinking pages. We deliberately chose to go this route, rather than create three separate websites, in order to encourage the exploration of the entire project’s development, and to illustrate the project’s separate elements while maintaining a cohesive perspective. The thumbnails which you’ll see in the upper-right corner of your screen will link you to the corresponding site that is indicated. Feel free to have a look around, we’ll see you there!
