Viñas del Golf Resort has made room for more

Viñas del Golf Resort has recently completed the construction of a new lodge that lies adjacent to our original John K. Norton designed lodge, which was built in 1921. The new lodge features 6 additional spacious suites and a cozy gallery with two fireplaces and a bar. The lodge has been delightfully designed to complement the architectural style of the original structure's golden-age aesthetic and rustic grand style. Modern amenities and authentic old-world charm combine to create the perfect getaway for guests of Viñas del Golf.

Progress on the next nine holes

As many of you know, Viñas del Golf’s remarkable resort originally included a 9-hole golf course that was the first in Argentina to be surrounded by vineyards. The course was expertly designed by Ricky Jurado Jr., grandson to José Jurado; "The father of Argentine Professional Golf".

Our recent upgrade of an additional 9-holes has now been completely excavated and shaped, and the fairways, greens, and tees are all complete. The drainage piping and sprinkler system are both currently being installed, and the grass will be planted within the next 2 months. The complete 18-hole championship course is scheduled to be open for play by April/May, 2009, and will beautifully compliment the estate's vineyards, water reserves and brooks, fruit and olive trees, and our world-class boutique winery.
